The NJOEF (New Jersey Osteopathic Education Foundation) works to build, sustain and advance the practice of osteopathic medicine in the State of New Jersey by rewarding qualified and eager medical school students with scholarship awards to be used toward attending his or her osteopathic school.
Every year, NJOEF awards scholarships to deserving osteopathic medical students. Thanks to the generous support of our members and Friends of the Foundation, NJOEF has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships.
We invite our members, as well as sponsors to consider investing in the future of osteopathic medicine in the Garden State!
Calling All First Year Osteopathic Medical Students to Apply to NJOEF's 2025 School Year Scholarship!
NJOEF is now accepting applications for First Year (OMS 1) scholarships! You will need the following to apply:
- To be a first year medical student enrolled in any osteopathic medical school in the United States.
- New Jersey state resident (at the time of the application).
- A copy of your acceptance letter from an osteopathic medical school
- A Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A headshot photograph
- Completed NJOEF application, found by clicking here, submitted to NJAOPS before the November 24, 2025 deadline.
- Completed references (3 total) of which one (1) must be from an osteopathic physician (DO). To download the required reference form, please click here.
- Use the AA.MC TI-Ix System attach your official MCAT score report to NJOEF. Official MCAT Score Report Includes a validation Code at the Top Along with Specific Identification Information. A PDF format is an acceptable format for this requirement.
- Please email all the references to Tajma Kotoric at tkotoric@njosteo.com before the November 24, 2025 deadline.
- Scholarships will be awarded directly to your school by December 19, 2025.

Must be a OMS II, OMS III, or OMS IV medical student enrolled in any osteopathic medical school in the United States.- Must be a New Jersey state resident at the time of the application.
- A headshot photograph.
- A completed NJOEF application, which can be found here, submitted before the November 24, 2025 deadline.
- Three (3) references of which one (1) must be from an osteopathic physician (DO). Please click here to use this form to submit your references.
- Please email all the above references to Tajma Kotoric at tkotoric@njosteo.com before the November 24, 2025 deadline.
- Scholarships will be awarded directly to your school by December 19, 2025.
